Classmate Helen McReynolds Bledsoe and her husband Don are on the front page of Newton's newspaper today.  They are being honored for their many years of service as chaplains for the Conover Police Department.

Representing the Bas Bleu Club, classmates Susan Gaither Jones and Donna Templeton Sharman made donations to purchase decodables (reading materials) for the three Newton-Conover elementary schools (Shuford, North Newton and South Newton).  They were featured in the Newton-Conover City Schools Facebook feed.
